Highlighting A Community Resource

There are so many resources being offered in the Quad-cities, but MHA wants to highlight the Youth Service Bureau of Rock Island County (YSB). Often people see the name and think these services are just for the youth. In fact, the Youth Service Bureau offers individual counseling, family counseling, couple counseling, group counseling, peer justice, in-home, and school-based services. They also offer evening appointments. Their fees are reasonable with financial assistance available for many families. YSB typically returns calls within 48 hours and the wait time to see a counselor is typically 2 weeks.

They are located at 2610 41st St. in Moline (right across from Whitey’s Ice Cream).
