Does Moline Housing Authority provide emergency housing?
Answer: We do not. We go by date and time of application. The same for both public housing and Section 8
How long will I have to wait on the waiting list?
Answer:
Efficiency - 6 to 12 months
1 bedroom - 1 ½ to 2 years
2 bedroom - 3 to 3 ½ years
3 bedroom - 3 to 3 ½ years
4 bedroom - 2 to 2 ½ years

How can I check my current waiting list status?
Answer: You have to go to the main office with photo identification.
How will I be notified that my name is at the top of the list?
Answer: For Section 8 a letter will be sent out. For public housing you may receive a phone call and/or a letter.
Does Moline Housing Authority rent to individuals under the age of eighteen?
Answer: Only if the individual is emancipated through the court system.
